How do I enable "Meeting Mode" or "Triangle Mode" on my AURA Displays?
How do I set my AURA monitors in “Triangle Mode” for group viewing?
Triangle Mode is a popular setup designed for in-person meetings and presentations. It allows you to display the same content on all screens — including your laptop and your two AURA monitors — so that multiple people seated around a table can easily see what you’re sharing, no matter where they’re sitting.
What is Triangle Mode?
This setup involves placing both AURA monitors on either side of your laptop and angling them outward slightly — forming a triangle shape facing multiple directions. When all three screens display the same content (via screen mirroring), everyone at the table has a clear view of your presentation, video call, or document.
How to enable screen mirroring on your system
On macOS
- Open System Settings and navigate to Displays.
- Click on each external monitor individually.
- Enable “Mirror for Display” — do this for both AURA monitors.
- All three screens (your Mac + 2 monitors) will now show the same content.
On Windows
- Right-click anywhere on your desktop and select Display settings.
- In the Multiple displays section, choose “Duplicate these displays.”
- You may need to repeat this step for both AURA monitors (e.g., duplicate display 1 with 2 and then with 3).
- Click Apply and confirm.
On Ubuntu (Linux)
- Go to Settings > Displays.
- Select each AURA monitor and toggle “Mirror displays.”
- Apply your changes to finalize the mirroring setup.
On Android (for USB-C phones)
- Connect your phone to one monitor using a USB-C cable — content will mirror automatically.
- If your phone supports Samsung DeX, it may allow extended display to multiple screens.
- Note: most Android phones do not natively support dual external displays.
How to position your monitors
- Place your laptop screen facing you as usual.
- Place one AURA monitor angled outward to the left, and the second angled to the right.
- The three screens will form a triangle-shaped viewing area visible from all sides of the table.
When is Triangle Mode useful?
- Team presentations in meeting rooms
- Client demonstrations with shared visuals
- Group reviews of designs, dashboards, or spreadsheets
