Gadgety, one of Israel's established consumer technology sites, covered the announcement of the Single Flex Pro in May 2026. Writer Ian Langerman walked Hebrew-speaking readers through our foldable 13.3-inch portable monitor, with a healthy mix of curiosity and skepticism.
What Gadgety focused on
The article centered on the form factor. Gadgety described a 13.3-inch panel in a tall 3:4 format at 1536 x 2048, a body that closes down to a very slim package, and a weight it put at around 712 grams. It also listed the core numbers: a 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of peak brightness, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and 117% NTSC color coverage.
On connectivity, Gadgety noted two USB-C ports that can carry video and power over a single cable, plus a mini HDMI port for devices without USB-C display output.
The questions Gadgety raised
Gadgety did not hold back on the trade-offs. It called the lack of a built-in stand a major drawback, since a separate stand is needed. It found the brightness and panel specs somewhat disappointing for a premium product, and it compared the price unfavorably with conventional external monitors that sell for a fraction of the cost.
The writer also spotted an inconsistency in how the panel technology was described across our materials. That is a fair catch, and one we appreciate.
These are reasonable concerns. The Single Flex Pro is a first-generation foldable, built for people who value bag space and versatility above raw brightness or price per inch.
Why we are sharing it
International coverage like this shows that the idea of a foldable portable monitor is reaching readers well beyond our core markets. Critique included, it is exactly the kind of conversation a new category needs.
